There were some home-grown classic speed metal bands, cheap beer, quality Detroit grass, friends made, heads banged, and Anvil were beyond excellent and entertaining (those guitar solos!) and polite (they came out and chilled/smoked with everyone later). Well worth battling the snow, ice, cops and comatose drivers. Well worth coming home still drunk at 5:30 a.m. Well worth sleeping in past noon...
